food tech chips year 6

Hi today I made chips they were yummy as I thought I was in heaven jk we could have done

better because we sort of got muddled up but we survived here is some pictures of them.

hokeypokeyt

Hi I made hokeypokey with 3 ingredients which were golden syrup surger and backing soda we didi make a mistake because we left in the pot for too long which made it stick to the pot which was a shame because we didn't get to eat as much so I hoped I helped you a bit my challenge was yo make the plan I enjoyed eating it.wich made dissolve in to that hokeypokey with those ingredients.

We made cookies 1st the 1st ones were better than the last ones looked like they were mouldy but yum but I reckon they could have been yummier For the first batch of cookies we made normal cookies but we added white chocolate instead of dark chocolate. We learned not to use too many ingredients & to not use wholemeal flour. Top one 2nd bottom left 1st

transformation using grids

Today we found an accredited image on Explore and selected it to use on our page. We then put a 5x5 grid on it so we could copy the image and make it original. Mrs Minehan selected the first two images so we could understand the process, then we got to choose our own image.
I found the first one  difficult but I tried at least
I chose the image of a Maori symbol  because it is my country
Have you ever tried to transform an image using a grid? How did you find the process?

New zealend find the place

Capital E

2 weeks ago we went to Wellington and in that time we went to a place called Capital E. While we were there we made some loops and my one had drum and bass guitar and sound effects.  I found it challenging to find the right music to put together so it sounded good.  I found listening to music fun.

Composting roleplay

Walt, we made this to start more people composting better and less people littering and putting resources that don't breakdown into compost for the environment.
This is my group roleplay that we made about composting, it shows all the rubbish that people have put in our school composting bin. I enjoyed doing the roleplay because it was fun and the mistakes we made were quite funny and sort of embarrassing. Nothing was really challenging this time because my job was to record.

Wellington camp 2019

H20 was Awesome. As I was in the lazy river trying to grip onto the side of the wall successfully. Doing it but then getting shoved by a random kid which got me stuck in a hoard of kids then we went on the bus back to our cabins to sleep for the next day.

My go cart design

WALT recreate a reading activity to share on the blog. I choose to draw a picture that shows my idea go-cart because we read the story King of the Hill. He has to learn to turn the cart because it has 2 wheels, to turn he has to lean from side to side with his body. I choose a two-wheeler because I thought it would be faster going down a hill than a 4 wheeler go-cart. I really enjoyed getting to colour and create my go-cart. I found it challenging to write the WALT.

I chose the maori symbol because its part of my family.

My nana knows all about our maori family.

Creating my paddel was the bit I enjoyed the most.  I found it challenging to find symbols that mean alot to me.
